Adam Stein has 20 years of marketing and public affairs experience at leading
semiconductor, networking and marketing service firms. While VP Marketing at
network security innovator Fortinet, his team created and executed programs
that helped deliver more than 10% of the company’s annual revenue - 800%
RROI on total marketing investment.
Prior to Fortinet he was the acting VP Marketing and Evangelism for Foundry
Networks, overseeing all external marketing strategy, product positioning,
seminar development and web-based marketing programs. Prior to Foundry,
Stein developed Juniper Network's first corporate marketing effort focusing on
TCO validation, market segment expansion, and Customer Briefing Center
programs.
He also worked in the semiconductor market as Director of Marketing
for Broadcom Corporation’s Home Networking Division and concurrent
marketing leadership for a technology trade group - Home Phoneline
Networking Alliance (HomePNA.org). Prior to joining Broadcom through
the acquisition of home networking innovator Epigram, he developed the first
worldwide corporate marketing program at networking leader Cisco Systems.
He also held marketing management roles for 3Com and leading marketing
services agencies in San Francisco and Boston. Stein holds a Masters degree in
Marketing from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the
University of Colorado in Boulder.
